Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”

‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Make straight the way of the Lord,” ’
as the prophet Isaiah said.” NKJV

A forerunner is person who goes or is sent in advance to announce the coming of someone or something that follows; herald . John the Baptist announced and prepared the way for the first coming of our Lord Jesus to bring salvation to Mankind.

The Lord has saved us sent us to preach the gospel by the word of God and by our character in line with the scriptures.
Our Heavenly Father is depending on us to win souls to His kingdom. But today many of God’s Children have forgotten who they are as the light of the world and the salt of the earth and are so consumed in the pursuit of material things and souls tied to them are going to hell everyday .

John the Baptist know exactly what his divine purpose where, when he was asked by unbelievers of his day he told them exactly his mission. Today believers loved to be identified as doctors, Nurses, politicians, business men , professors, etc and not many are bold to identify themselves as Christ representative of the kingdom of heaven . Why is that ? We have lost focused of the heart beat of God ,forgotten about the second coming of Jesus Christ .also
– [x] taken the death of Jesus on the cross as means to enrich our earthly desires and achievements, than to fish for men for the kingdom.

Remember God is not going to value you by your career or wealth, but by your faithfulness to the number one job He gave you as a believer which is Soul-winning. No wonder the scriptures says “ he who wins soul is wise”.

Beloved Arise ! Start distributing life to unbelievers because they are dead spiritually.
You have been equipped by the word and by the Holy Spirit. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8. NkJV.

If you do ,your treasure in heaven is everlasting and you will not lose your reward on earth.
