The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

When ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. ( NkJV).

When Our Lord walked the face of earth He told His listeners to take advantage of His physical presence with them as the light of the world so they can take hold of wisdom and walk in the ways of God so that they will not pay allegiance to the Devil who causes people to walk in darkness.

Beloved you are privileged to be born again by believing in Christ as your Lord and personal savior that automatically made you the the sons and daughters of the light but you must understand there are expectation from the Lord of all the earth . He wants us to understand His ways through the knowledge of the scriptures and live by it every day by the power of the Holy Spirit, because those that walk in their old character cannot please the Lord , they are indirectly pleasing the enemy of their soul just like the Jews in the days of Jesus , He rebuked them and called them the children of Satan because of their actions are of the king of darkness . Jesus said “why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word . Ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do “ ( John 8: 43-44) NkJV.

This is why we must work out our salvation by allowing the word of God to transform you by knowing His will and taking actions that pleases Him .

The ways to do this is to allow the Holy Spirit to teach you the word and make efforts to apply it as the opportunity comes in real life situations.

Secondly pray without ceasing for God to help you for by flesh no man can prevail.

Thirdly, Be a worshipper of God in songs and in hymn so you can be filled with the Spirit every day , the fourth is to try not to forsake the assembly of other believers there you are provoked to love and your fire will never grow dim , lastly forgive those that have hurt you and be an ardent soul winner . If you can do all of this consistently you will indeed be the son or daughter of your Heavenly Father and the enemy will be put under your feet and you will be blessed in all things . Then you can never be lost and confused in this life, rather you will always walk in victory.
