Topic : Be a committed witness to Christ.(part 2) Text : John 4 : 5 -15 Key verse : 13-14.

Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” NkJV.

Our Lord Jesus is indeed our perfect example of a committed witness, coming from a long journey tired and weary, hungry and tasty, yet He decided to look away from His need because there is a greater and more valuable need , the salvation of a soul.

This is very important lesson to believers ,we are so concerned about our daily challenges that we have lost the burden and passion for the lost in our sphere of contact, men , women , boys and girls , rich and poor are dying and going to hell per minute, we have forgotten we shall be accountable for their souls.

This what apostle Paul understood when he said I am free from the blood of all men ,because he made effort to witness to everyone in his sphere of contact whether they believed or not , the reason is that God will require their blood from his hands.
The Samaritan woman would have died a sinner and wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to save others in her community by witnessing Christ to them through her experience : she said come and see the man that told me everything is He not the Christ ? meaning the Messiah.
Beloved though we have many things we want to accomplish for ourselves let learn to prioritize the things that have eternal value for night is coming when no man can work . The Lord knows that every moment counts and that this present life has an expiration date , these should be our mind set too. There is a great reward for soul winners and judgement for those who reject the great commission.
